Another article in our series where we look at some of the greatest ever football matches involving Greater Manchester's teams.
Now we look at the 2013 FA Cup Final between Wigan Athletic and Manchester City.
Context: Despite not retaining the Premier League title, City were meant to have a relatively straightforward afternoon against a Wigan side that was to be relegated a few days later.
It didn't quite turn out like that...
Ben Watson's last-minute goal won the FA Cup and gave Wigan a major trophy for the first time in their history.
Aftermath: Wigan would be relegated a few days later following a defeat to Arsenal. Man City sacked Roberto Mancini and eventually replaced him with Manuel Pellegrini.
