Post Match: Porto 0 - 0 Manchester City

City had a late goal against Porto ruled out but a 0-0 draw was enough for them to secure top place in their Champions League group,

Gabriel Jesus had a second-half goal controversially disallowed by VAR.

It seemed that after a frustrating game, Jesus had broken the deadlock when he tapped home after his initial header had been saved, but the effort was ruled out because Joao Cancelo was offside.

It wasn't the best performance from City but Guardiola will ultimately be happy that City are guaranteed top spot with a game to spare.

What have people said about the match and performance?

VAR is yet again one of the talking points from the game. One City fan said on YouTube: "At this point is football fans can’t even celebrate goals properly."

A Porto fan on the same video said: "I support porto and am gassed for them to be through but Man City got really unlucky this game especially poor Dias and that var check. Still, both teams are through look on the bright side."

Next up for City is a match against Fulham at The Etihad.
