You should have known the England team was finished when they gave Southgate an OBE just for getting a semi-final. There ain't no standards. Guy couldn't even finish 3rd place for a bronze and they brought out Prince Charles to give him a medal like he'd won a war for fucks sake

Despite everything that has gone on recently, it is worth considering that during the 2018 World Cup, Southgate pushed England on to a 4th place finish. This was England's best performance at a tournament since Euro '96 and best at a World Cup since Italia '90.
Even Sven, with all the talent at his disposal, only managed a Quarter Final finish. Who can forget the Ronaldinho Free Kick and the Ronaldo wink?
